In TSM terms, the NT application log acts as an event receiver. The logging of
events to receivers is controlled by the admin commands DISABLE EVENTS and
ENABLE EVENTS. To disable all logging to the NT event log, the command would be
something like:

DISABLE EVENTS NTEVENTLOG ALL

We find the default behaviour of logging only errors to the application log
quite useful. However we disable a few events such as ANR0944 and ANR2034 that,
whilst seen as errors, are not generally of concern to us.
