Look in the AIX errpt.
(type in errpt | pg, or
errpt -a | pg to get details).
You will probably find some hardware errors on that drive.
The errpt -a will have sense information, you can send it to your STK
CE/specialist for review.
Also look at the tail of the acsls error log:
su - acsss (or log on as acssa)
cd log
tail -100 acsss_event.log
They may want to see those errors as well.
