It may have a different name or folder...here is what I found in the Version
4 documentation: "If you have problems starting the server after
installation, go to your server instance directory, for example
tivoli\tsm\server1, and check the initserv.log file for error statements"

I did have a problem when I upgraded to TSM 3.7.3 where the upgade of the
database failed.  When I ran the "DSMSERV UPGRADEDB" again, it worked.  I
never persued why the "automatic" update did not....
