you can only restore Primary volume, not copy pool volume. In fact if you
deleted DR volume, the stgpool backup will backup it next day. However the
primary volume can be restore if you have DR copy. Just Do "restore
Vol_name" you will see the list of the DR tapes you need to bring back from
activity log.

If you can not restore the tape, (No DR or DR damaged), you lost the data.
In Fact if the data you still backing up, next day you will have one new
version. (But you lost some data that has been deleted from the client).

Hello, I have a question ? I have ADSM server V3  in  AIX 4.x.
If I deleted a tape of the adsm data base, I can restore it ?
Exist otherwise to restore the information or any command that allow see
this ?
