Jack,
Has some attribute of the file other than the time stamp changed.
With the netware client for example ADSM will look at attributes such as file
size and trustee rights.
If you only want it to consider timestamp then look at the incrbydate option.
If you do use incrbydate remember that you should still run full incrementals on
a regular basis.
If you search through the particular client manual you are interested in, you
should be able to find the file attributes ADSM will use to decide if a backup
is required.

Good Morning,

What criteria does ADSM use to determine what files are to be backed up
incrementally.  Does it go just by last date modified or by the actual
contents of the file or something else? I have some clients that show they
backed up some files last night that have not been modified since 8/2.  Why
is this happening?
