Now on a different subnet I'm guessing...
a different interface to the same subnet won't get you much 'cause TSM can
flood the network !
so say you have a client with interfaces
1.2.3.6
and
1.2.4.6
and a tsm server with interface 1.2.4.8
just make sure your tcp/ip is configured to route .4 traffic out the .4
interface
"the data you see is real, the actual numbers have been changed to protect
the innocent"
Routing tables
Destination Gateway Flags Refs Use If PMTU Exp
Groups

Route Tree for Protocol Family 2 (Internet):
default 19.10.5.1 UG 23 1385802370 fi2 - -
127/8 127.0.0.1 U 8 1313879 lo0 - -
19.10.5/24 19.10.5.100 U 4 968285 fi2 - -
19.13.81/24 19.13.81.68 U 4 1268860473 fi0 - -
19.13.85/24 19.13.85.50 U 1 685680097 fi1 - -

so if I set the "tcpserveraddress" to be 19.13.85.99 upon starting a "dsmc"
session, tcp/ip would route the data our the "fi1" interface
and the tsm server would go back in that same path... as long as the tsm
server's tcp/ip was set properly...
