Hi Arthur,

Are you trying to restore the data from a copypool tape?
The error seems to indicate that this file was on your primary pool
but not in the copypool. The file was probably backed up after the
backup stgpool process.

If your primary tape is still available, make sure that the access is
readonly or readwrite.
If not then you may need to do a restore volume of your primary to
recreate the consistent state, then retry your restore. But you won't
be able to restore this file.
Hope this helps.

Subject: ANR0540W - Data Integrity Error

Hello everyone,

I am getting the following error on our TSM (version 3) server, when an NT
client tries a restore:

08/01/2000 10:49:35 ANR9999D smnqr.c(1265): Bitfile 198748526 not
found
for
                          retrieval.
08/01/2000 10:49:35 ANR0540W Retrieve or restore failed for session
38941 for
node SUTTONM (WinNT) - data integrity error
detected.

Has anyone else seen an error like this one and does anyone know what needs
to be done to fix this?

I was thinking of running the "dsmserv auditdb" command, but I do not know
how long this might take (we have a 32 GB database that is about 75%
utilized). Any thoughts/comments would be appreciated!!!

Thanks in advance,

Arthur Kleynerman.
