Since moving to 3.1.2.57, I see this regularly: for two-three weeks after
the upgrade at 2147 3-4 nights a week, then three weeks of nothing and now
at 2151 3-4 nights a week. At that time of night there's nothing but
scheduled backups.

Hi Brian,

I got two core dump cases after moving from 3.1.2.13 to 3.1.2.57 a few
weeks ago. PMR is raised.

The first one is on expiration ( I run it twice, it core dump twice) and
with message:
ANR9999D pkthread.c(492): Run-time assertion failed: "bufP != NULL", Thread
54, File buf.c, Line 750.

In my environment, dsmc archive/dsmc retrieve is running frequently, ADSM
server core dump when "expire inventory wait=yes" is running in parallel
with those "dsmc archive" (I am not sure for retrieve). The bypass is
"expire inventory wait=no skipdir=yes"

The second is on "backup stgpool wait=yes"
It core dump somtimes, the bypass is "backup stgpool wait=no". I cannot
afford to try "expire inventory wait=yes skipdir=yes" as I don't have a
testing environment.  Thanks.

Eric Tang
