I submitted a question to this group about the ghost sessions some time
ago.  What we discovered was a problem on our AIX server.  We discovered
that we didn't have enough system memory (excessive paging).  I was able to
take care of some of the problem by rearranging the schedules to reduce the
number of clients accessing the server at any one time.
