Your symptoms sounds like your netware service pack is outdated and  needs to be
updated to the current nw4sp7a. Novell ( or perhaps Arcserve ) has a document
which sounds similiar and is solved by installing the latest netware service
pack. I understand its a CLIB issue.

Does anyone have any suggestion about the following issue:


Novell Server 4.11 running ADSM Client 3.1.0.6. The ADSM Server is running AIX
4.2.1 and the ADSM software is 3 rev1 level2.40.

When you restore a volume of a Novell Server from ADSM the creation date of the
volume is "September 19th, 2008". This only happens when you restore a volume of
a server, we have not see this happen on restoring single files. It does not
matter if the drive is a stand alone or a part of a Raidset.
