I send my *SM incremental database backups to another *SM server. This
doesn't use a new tape each time on the other *SM server, just gets
stored in the pool that the 'client server' is in. To the server
performing an incremental it does appear as an extra 'volume' in DRM and
volhist.

We have successfuly recovered our server once from a full from tape and
3-4 incrementals done to another server. As easy as 'dsmserv restore
db'. (if you have a devconfig and volhist file....)

Of course, the other server has to be available to do this though..
