Hal way house? It depends..
Situations are, where tape speed is the limit - then 
you are happy with 2 drives backing your data simultaneously.
And when another ressources limits you,
than you can use disk storage pool with the migration
processes effectively multiplex your tape drives.

If *SM developers went along same road as veritas,
then they would have written Veritas.
