Hi ,
first of all make sure that you can see all SCSI ID's from SCSI adapter
menu - if you use Adaptec it is Ctrl-A
during boot - you can use all SCSI devices with its SCSI Id . If you cannot
see library ( robot ) id - you have to
check scsi cables and terminators. If you can see scsi id - boot NT and try
test library with LBTEST program -
this will show you how *SM see you hardware device. I had problems with IBM
3447 on RAID adapters ( even
when RAID adapter card producers stated their devices support tapes and
libraries ). Run fine on Adaptec 2940UW.
