RMAN backups have been working well for 3 months..... but 3 days ago they
just stopped working. Of course, "nothing has changed". ADSM is calling the
RMAN script with no problems, sees communication from the RMAN node
correctly, and records the completion of the RMAN commands correctly with no
problems.

But the client end shows RMAN failure messages like:
        RMAN-10035 operation failed
        ORA-19506 failed to create sequential file
        ORA-27006 sbtremove returned error

The last two Oracle describe as backup storage operation failures.

Is it a problem at the RMAN end, or at the ADSM end?? ADSM V3.1.2.20

We have tried the backup interactively - same problems.
We have switched the RMAN backup from allocating an ADSM channel to
allocating a disk - and the backups completed successfully.
What should we now do to ADSM??
