Hi Alexander,

there is a way to move a HSM-Filesystem from one node to another. Please read
the file README.OLD which comes with the adsm client. Search the file for the
word "HACMP" (HACMP is a means to takeover resources from one node to another
if there are hardware problems).

It describes the extension of the dsmmigs command:

dsmmigfs (Add | Update | Import)
         [-HThreshold=(0..100)]
         [-Lthreshold=(0..100)]
         [-Pmpercentage=(0..100)]
         [-Agefactor=(0..999999999)]
         [-SIzefactor=(0..999999999)]
         [-STubsize=<value>]
         [-Quota=(0..999999999)]
         [-SErver=<server name>] file systems

What you need is the IMPORT-option. This command does only register a
HSM-Filesystem which is already on disk. So what you have to do is:

import volumegroup
mount hsm-fs
dsmmigfs import <options> <hsm-fs>

It is wrong to use the add option of the dsmmigfs command because the
HSM-filesystem is already on disk.

Greetings

Othmar
