I hope you are referring to TDP for Lotus Domino.

If not, I would recommend against TDP for Lotus Notes - it is
extremely SLOW!!!!  Understandably so since it backs up at the
document level.  The new TDP for Lotus Domino backs up the
Domino transaction log level which provides for a faster
backup mechanism.
