Hi, Brian,
The correct format for NT is servername\C$\ NT is not case
sensitive, but you must use '$', not ':' for the drive.

Hi all,
We have just started backing up NT boxes with TSM. 3.7.1.0 - all our other
clients are AIX.

I scheduled an archive last night - the archive object was C:\*.*

The archive failed with:-

04/05/2000 09:47:11 ANS4006E Error processing '\\atl01_notes\c$': directory
path
not found
04/05/2000 09:47:11 --- SCHEDULEREC OBJECT END TESTIT 04/05/2000 09:49:53
04/05/2000 09:47:11 ANS1512E Scheduled event 'TESTIT' failed. Return code =
4.

Anyone any ideas what the correct syntax is on NT - is it C: or C:\* or
C:\

Thanks in advance,

Brian Johnson
