The Volume History records track the most recent usage of volumes
in your *SM system.  You should generally not delete entries, as
you always want each volume's info to be there.  The exceptions
are cyclic pruning of DB backup tapes, and removal of entries
that are obsolete because of tape retirement or from having been
used for Export-Import long ago, etc.
