ORACLE/BACKINT hangs during backup

Hi all,

we face two curious problems with the backup of one of our SAP servers (SAP 40B,
Oracle, NT):

most of the backups are stopping after backing up a few data files. All
services on the
SAP/NT server are still present, but there is no session on the ADSM server (AIX
4.3.3)!

most of the backups are reported as failed in ADSM, but as successfull in SAP!
I don't see
any relevant error message in the backint log.

Any ideas?
