As others have said, it depends. I am using a 3466/NSM which is an AIX
F50. It comes with 2 processors upgrade to 4.
You need enough disk space to 'stage' a days worth of backups
if you're backing up small systems. Or go directly to tape for very large
DLT is good for that but from my experience I would recommend staying away
from DLT if you have a lot of small systems to backup and plan to be
agressive about restore performance by using collocation and a lot of
reclaims. ... etc.
