ADSM connectivity to Clariion 5300

Does anybody have a Clariion 5300 FCAL Disk Array connected to an AIX system.
Recently we had a hard failure on an SP controller card in a Clariion 5300
setup.  The ATF software worked fine but when the SP card was replace AIX could
not see the card.  EMC/Clariion has their hands in the air on this one.
O/S - AIX 4.2.1.0
ADSM 3.1.2.40.
