OS/390 will handle the allocation. You may want to set each of the ADSM
servers device classes to a mountlimit so they don't exceed 8 drives. Also,
are these 4 ADSM servers running on the same machine/LPAR/Sysplex?? If not
you may need to manually vary the tape drives online/offline to the systems.
If in a Sysplex, are you using IEFAUTOS to share the drives among all the
systems in the Sysplex?
