Any hints as to why your DBAs didn't use RMAN?
I'll be converting from Oracle 7 to 8 sometime soon and so must move from EBU to
RMAN if I stay with the Oracle solution.
What do they use instead? Disk dumps? adsmpipe?

Does anyone have any experience co-ordinating these 2 products?  We are
using Autosys (a job scheduling package) to schedule Oracle exports. We
would like Autosys to  then run backups after the export has completed.
Our database administrators have chosen not to use RMAN.  Any
implementation tips are welcome.
