Hello *SMers,

I´ve got just another problem wit my SUN Solaris client. But the problem
is - maybe -
not SUN specific.

I archived the filesystem "/" (root). Then I retrieved it to another
physical disk, which was empty
before and mounted to /mnt. In the dsm.opt I chose the options:
archsymlinkasfile no #(thanks to Robert Cross!)
followsymbolic yes # for retrieving empty mount points

What happens is that I retrieve everything, also mount points where nothing
is mounted.
I do not retrieve the mount points (or empty directories) /proc and /tmp,
which I need for rebooting from this disk!

And that´s my problem: Do I have to create the directories /proc and /tmp
manually afterwards, or
is there any solution which is more convenient?

Thank you ALL for any comments!

Kindly regards, Oliver Janzen.
