Check the datatools.log file ($DTBASE/obacktrack/log).
If you have -verbose on the job, then you will get more detail and the elapsed
time.
The summary at the end gives the highest return code (rc) for the job, but
depending on your retries value, it could still succeed even if rc is none 0.

Subject: SQL Backtrack

We?re running TSM 3.7 on AIX 4.3.3.. (server). One of our clients is running
AIX 4.3.3 and Oracle 8.. We?ve implemented SQL Backtrack and the OBSI Module
for ADSM to enable hot backup capability.. It works however I?m having
trouble getting some sort of report on whether the backups are running
successfully on a dialy basis. Very little shows up in the Activity log
(just the client connecting to the tsm server really). Q Event * * is also
uselss as it just says the backup was completed (in seconds really) whether
or not the backup was actually successful. I.e. it completed calling the
script over on the client but that doesn?t mean the backup worked nor gives
us any info on how much data was backed up.

Does anyone have a query or select statement or some other means to get a
good report on whether they backup or not? Thanks!
