Hello everyone,

Whenever we do incremental backup of win95 machines there's a wait time of
over 5 minutes before the actual backup starts.  We know (through the tcpip
monitor on VM) that there's alot of back and forth going on, but the GUI
interface does not reflect any of that.  This only started happening when
we upgraded VM (the operating system itself) to version 2.3 from 2.1.

At the time the ADSM server on VM was version 2, and later we upgraded it
to Version 3 Rel.1 Lev. 2.20.  The server upgrade didn't change this
behaviour.  On the client side, the same thing happens for clients version
2 and TSM Ver. 3 Rel. 7 Lev.1.0.  This only applies to GUI interface
clients.  Our Netware and AIX clients do not have this problem.
