After a correct db/2 and *sm setup, you are able to run
db2 backup database using adsm
command.
With using the userexit in db2 you can even archive your db/2 logs and do
online backups..
You can find detailed info on how to setup things in the UDB Admin Guide,
search for "ADSTAR".
