An update.

Telnet into the system and dsmc works fine.  So, my thought is process
memory when running a window manager (in this case KDE).  Unix gurus: how
does one increase the virtual memory for a user?  I'm an old VMS guy and
that would be adjusting user quota WSMAX.  I'm sure there is something
similar in Unix, but what is it.
