what is the estimated capacity of the optical disks? how much data actually gets
onto each disk? how big are the disks in reality? are the disks being written to
both sides?

Subject: ADSM OPTICAL DISK UTILIZATION QUERY
Customer has a document imaging system using VISUAL INFO, DB2 ,ADSM & 3995
OPTICAL DRIVE.
While performing the ADSM migration to optical they can use only upto 40% of
each optical disk
in 3995 disk drive.
When each optical disk reaches 40% of its storage capacity VI changes the
attributes to RO from RW with some error and writes to the next optical disk.
Now they have four optical disks with only 40% space being used.
How can we increase the threshold value to fully utilize the disk space?
Would you pls provide some hints and solutions to configure ADSM to use atleast
90% space of each optical disk or any parameters needs to be changed?
Thanks & Best Regards,,,,,,,
