I work for the Missouri Department of Transportation. I had no ADSM
administration experience prior to taking this job last September/October. My
title is senior information specialist-- which is a very broad category. The
next "level" would be a systems analyst-- greater pay range, but no
comptime/overtime compensation. The pay range for my position is
$35,796-$54,192. I think my current salary is $37,326.

I think that this figure would be on the low end of the bell curve (or so I
would like to think!!) -- I work for a state whose salaries, in the aggregate,
rank above only Mississippi and Arkansas (I think those were the two states-- at
any rate MO ranked 48th). Jefferson City (where I live) has a relatively low
cost of living index.

It's not terrible, but it sure could be better!!

Well, I guess I can start the discussion... I am a software analyst in
Wisconsin. I support several software packages but my main focus is ADSM. The
salary range for my title is $40,000 to $53,000... Technically I can be
promoted to the next range (50-65,000) and still perform the same functions but
that is not generally the case here.
