What is the ADSM level and STK 9710 microcode level of the library that will
not come up properly?  STK 9710 microcode level 1.10.1 adds the following:

Addition of 10 byte serial number to Read Element Status Data Transfer
Element response.

Look at APAR IC24458

    Additional data were returned from the Read Element Status command,
    causes incompatible storage allocation between the new firmware and
    the current ADSM device driver. The fix resolves the differences
    for 9710, 9714 and 9740 firmware upgrades.

The ADSM maintenance level must include this fix if microcode 1.10.1. is
installed.
