Hi Steve,

I am apparently just now :=8) , 
after 3 years of almost no-problem ADSM exploitation,
in the silly situation of searching after 
oldest DB Backup available (N weeks), 
eventually beeing confronted with the need
to restore my DB from such an old tape.

Should you ever trap into such situation, 
you would be quite happy about each extra day 
in your retention/reuse period.

My recommendation: 
Always plan for worst case
if you want to avoid it!
