You can NOT delete the LAST dbb in volhist in ADSM.

This is a problem (got around with it), that is occurring often, seems
worth
mentioning.
ADSM server tsm 3.7.0.0 on AIX 4.3.2  is not deleting volhist  for
type=dbb.
(data base backup volumes);
using "del volhist" command.   "q volhist  type=dbb" lists the volume with
backup date 11/28/1999;
but "del volhist type=dbb  todate=12/10/1999"  does not delete it.
However I could delete it  after 1/1/2000;  after the system AIX is
restarted;
This problem occurred
several times earlier with tsm 3.7;  but hopefully may not repeat;
Otherwise we
will end up with
either re-labelling the volume,  or  not using those tapes.
