Is there a comment character(s) for a dsmc macro on AIX?  I've tried:
/* comment */
/  comment
*  comment
:  comment
#  comment
;  comment
"  comment"
'  comment'

All of which give a "ANS1141W Unknown command" error.  I'v tried both
TSM 3.7.1.0 and ADSM 3.1.0.7f.
