Howdy,
Does anyone have an idea of if there is a limit on the maximum length of a path
name and if there is a different limit on a filename (from within *SM). This is
for both NT and AIX in particular. Put another way, is there an architectual
limit within *SM on the length of an object name?
I've performed a search thru the archives but other than an operating system
limit on NT (and how that can be violated by mapped drives), there has been no
previous mention of it.
