I am trying to setup bare metal restores for some Compaq NT servers. I am
using a jaz drive with NT and adsm client installed on it to boot up. I
then restore the files to the attached server. The problem I have is that I
need the appropriate ntbootdd.sys file for each system. This is the scsi
driver for the jaz drive and it is different depending on what model of
Compaq I have. This driver does not appear in the root of the boot drive
where it should be or anywhere else on the system. Compaq must store it in
some hidden space. Anyway to get that file the only way I can "create it"
is to do an NT install on the jaz drive attached to the server because the
installation creates the file in the root directory. Anyone have any ideas
of how to find the file without having to do an NT install with every
different hardware model?

Thanks,
