When you use the backup archive client to perform a restore only active files
are displayed by default. To view deleted files, which should be in an inactive
state, you will need to change the view settings within the client.

How come the deleted files are not getting retain according to the policy.
I have backup a directory which had 5 files, then I deleted 2 of the files,
and again I performed
the backup of that directory, but when I went to Restore I found that the
deleted files is not on the tape too. Following is my copy group policy for
that schedule.
Backup Copy Groups : POT456-DEVP POT456-DEVP POT456-DEVP STANDARD
Policy Domain Name POT456-DEVP
Policy Set Name POT456-DEVP
Mgmt Class Name POT456-DEVP
Copy Group Name STANDARD
Versions Data Exists 7
Versions Data Deleted 2
Retain Extra Versions 30
Retain Only Version 60
Copy Mode ABSOLUTE
Copy Serialization DYNAMIC
Copy Frequency 0
Copy Destination BACKUPPOOL
Last Update Date/Time 1999-12-23 15:43:12.000000
