It looks like IBM did something good on the FTP site - they added an
"oldptfs" directory under index.storsys.ibm.com/adsm/fixes/v3r1

I see under oldptfs/aix there is a 3.1.0.6 client.  Excellent!

Also there are new PTFs out there for various servers - AIX & HP-UX
are now up to 3.1.2.50.
