First:

Check your ID and be sure the Library interface is the first ID.

Example:
Library: ID2
Drive 1: ID3
Drive 2: ID4
etc...

You can have speed conflict between library and drives.

Second:

Try another SCSI adapter. We had trouble with a specific adapter (Drive or
Media errors) and we solve everything with a different adapter.

Third:

A fixetest 3.1.2.42 is available on the IBM ftpsite but I don't known what
it solves exactly. A HTML file gives some informations, check if you are
concerned by this fixe.
