Dave,

Usually this means that the proper file shares (like C$ or D$)
are not accessible by the user doing the restore or the
file shares do not exist at all.

For example, if your Exchange Server is on the D: drive,
then the D$ file share must exist and the user doing the
restore must have permission to this share.

It will try to open "\\machinename\D$\exchsrvr\dsadata\dir.edb".
If it cannot open this file, you will get the message above.

I have seen some security/virus programs remove these shares
leading to this problem.
