Well Jerry... Yes 'no limit' applies to the only copy too (we were young and
stupid)
Mecki... these files are still within the service level agreement, so I
cannot just delete the fs. Space is an issue so I would rather have them
start expiring (2 - 5 G pre day) than just to sit for the next 6 months.
David... I want to rebind backed up files (their fs or any copies exists on
the client) to a new management class so they can expire via the rules of
the new MC.

As long as you haven't rebound your new file structure, could you
possible
use
an SQL select statement on the Backups table - this will give you a
list of
files for that
particular node and the management class that each was bound to . .
.
could be an extremely long list though depending on how many files
you have.
You could then use this list to rebind those files that are No Limit
into an
MC that
will expire them.
