As far as I know it's backwardly compatable. I didn't have any problems with the
upgrade when I performed it elsewhere.

I have an AIX system running Informix and Spillman software that has xlC.rte
3.6.3.0 installed.  The current ADSM client requires xlC.rte 3.6.4.0 and
includes the upgrade software at the ADSM web site.

I realize that this is probably a minor upgrade, but is there any danger of
having to recompile application software for this upgrade of the C++ runtime
environment?
