This is 'usual' adsm behavior. ADSM
uses internal compression
fills the tape until it is full
If the files backed up are well-compressable, adsm shows a status of 'filling'
until end-of-volume is reached. And estcap equals to the actual used capacity,
beginning at the estcap of the device type.
We often see this behavior when backing up databases which are almost empty but
large.
On the opposite, if you use compression on client side, you might see poor
capacity because of compression of compressed data.
