Cody,
this depends very much on how many documents you touch between the
incrementals. Usually using the ConnectAgent saves quite a lot of network
bandwidth.

What the Agent does not is saving space in the ADSM server. While you won't
have to expect major changes in your backup pools (when not using
collocation by filespace which will create a tape "pool" for each database)
take a closer look on your ADSM DB when introducing the Agent. As ADSM puts
a new entry into the DB for every document instead of now every Notes DB, be
sure to provide enough disk space for your ADSM DB.
