Hi,

    I don't know why you would want to install ADSM in a different
directory,
but with the use of symlinks, you certainly can (after the fact -- ugly at
upgrade time :).

That is the whole idea of keeping
ADSM on both sides of the cluster !

And the discussion will probably go on
to the point of HACMP : code on
both sides or code on the shared disk ?

I think for AIX and ADSM it is better to
put them on each server, and share config
files and disk resources, because there
isn4t much to worry to applying patches,
it is quite simple.

On the other hand, bigger and more
critical applications are better to
be installed on the shared disk.

But it is more an HACMP issue than
an ADSM problem.
