I'll echo Jerry's thoughts and perhaps provide a few others.

This was a first class opportunity to learn about ADSM and what's coming.
The IBM/Tivoli folks were great in letting us know what's new and what's
coming as well as sharing with us some ideas about future directions for the
product.  I'm sure someone will synopsize those details for all of us, so I
won't belabor it here.

If you have a chance to attend one of these in the future, I strongly
encourage you to do so.  It is well worth the expense.  In fact, for the
amount of information and the interaction with others, this conference is
worth it at twice the price.  (Hint to those of you considering the follow
on...)

There is discussion about hosting another of these in the spring timeframe
in the US.  A strong show of ADSM/ Tivoli Storage Manager users will help us
to drive the product in the directions we need it to go.  Once plans begin
to materialize, I highly encourage all of you to express your interest in
attending such a thing so the plans will continue to move forward.
Lackadaisical (sp) support by us may cause the sponsors of the next event to
blanche.  Let's make sure this does not happen.

Sheelagh did a fabulous job.  I, like Jerry, have attended and spoken at a
million of these things and this one was the best organized.  St.
Catherine's College has wonderful facilities and the food was great. Top
notch all the way.

Thanks to Karen Dutch and her team at Tivoli and to Sheelagh and her team at
Oxford for putting this together.

BTW, the number one thing we learned was not to call Tivoli Storage Manager
TSM.  You have to say it.  No acronyms.  The acronym police will be on you
if slip into your old habits.  Repeat after me: Tivoli Storage Manager,
Tivoli Storage Manager, Tivoli Storage Manager.

There is another option: The Product Formerly Known as ADSM, but that's even
longer.
