Tell the files you want to archive in the Objects fields of the scheduler
option. Only incremental backup command uses the DOMAIN information as
default. To use archiving, tell the directories and filespaces you will be
using.

Like this :

COMMAND : archive
OPTIONS : -subdir=yes (...)
OBJECTS : /data (...)

best regards

Rodrigo

This may sound silly, but can I use the Scheduler to Archive Client files?
when I try I get this message, and nothing happens...

ANS1079E No file specification entered

Where do I specify files? in the DSM.OPT? It works well for my backup
jobs...

PS. I am using client version 3 with a Server version 2.1.01

Hi Joshua,

be careful in using those manuals, i think they are published a little bit
early.
i.e. in selftuning only bufpoolsize will work.

     Mecki
