Hi there !

Which STK library and drives do you have. Microcode levels for library &
drives ?

We had problems at the begining with STK9740 and DLT7000 drives.

Earlier today, we halted ADSM to have our StorageTek library
upgraded with extra slots. When we brought up the system, ADSM
died immediately. The system is an AIX 4.3 sytem which reports
in errpt that dsmserv.42 had core dumped. It gives symptom code
PCSS/SPI2 FLDS/dsmserv.4 SIG/5 FLDS/_pthread_ VALU/7c .

Anyone else seen this ? Was it the upgraded library or is this
just a co-incidence. Restarting ADSM by hand gave the same result.

I will report the problem to IBM in the morning - but obviously the
sooner I get this sorted the better. So any advice, gratefully
received.
