Brad,

     If the process is waiting for a tape mount, make the tape 'unavailable' to
ADSM (i.e. update the access of the volume to unavailable), then cancel the
process.  If not, the specific piece of work must be completed (as someone else
on the list noted) before the process will go out.  Short of that - recycle the
ADSM server (this is my last resort!).

Does anyone know of a way to IMMEDIATELY kill an ADSM process?  90% of the
time, when I do a "cancel proc #" it doesn't go away until it times out.
This is VERY irritating.
