Using Tivoli Storage Management in a Clustered Windows NT Environment -

Abstract:

This redbook will help you use Tivoli Storage Management (TSM) / ADSTAR
Distributed Storage Manager (ADSM) with Microsoft Cluster Server (MSCS).
Chapter 1 contains an introduction to MSCS, introducing its terminology and
backup methods. Chapter 2 covers the planning, installation and running of the
TSM / ADSM backup client on MSCS. Chapter 3 explores special
considerations for running a TSM / ADSM server in a cluster including device
attachments. Chapter 4 covers the usage of Tivoli Data Protection for
Workgroups (TDPfW) with MSCS including considerations for integrating
TDPfW with TSM /ADSM in a cluster.
